Jesses Hunting- Hog Hunt

I thought it would be a good idea to send a story about the first time I met Jeff Jesse James at a hog hunt in California. I must say it left me with a very poor opinion about Jesse because of his attitude.

I don't know the full details, but apparently a hunter won a contest and got a free hog hunt through a advertiser or whatever via Jesse's Hunting site. The hunter, we'll call Mike, was a descent guy and was exited about his hunt as we all were that morning. It was a successful hunt, but Jesse was hounding Mike everywhere with a camera. You could see it was well past the awkward point for Mike. Jesse would also comment every time Mike was around others that he won this hog hunt from Jesse's Hunting forum. After the third mention, I told Jesse yes, I understand he won something from your site. It wasn't long before Jesse got under everyone's skin and it went from people walking away to -Get that camera out of my face!

Jesse could be categorized as and odd guy both in appearance and the way he communicates. He has a visible disability and it's difficult, not to feel sorry for him as you can see it has affected his character. Also, he was there for business and we were there to hunt and enjoy ourselves. It got to the point, we just avoided both of them until the final fiasco and why I emailed this story.

Jeff Jesse James got the notion it would be a great marketing idea to put JHO bumper stickers on our rigs without asking. Worse yet, he was sneaky about it and put the stickers on all the trucks that backed into the parking spots, possibly thinking we would not notice? Like we were not going to open our tailgates and load our gear? He then tried to laugh it off like a joke. If you want to piss-off hunters or just about anyone, put a sticker on their vehicle without asking.

So we all lined up our rigs and spent an hour or so waiting for Jesse to scrape the JHO bumper sticker off as he whined like we should be helping him. I'll never forget that and shake my head when ever I see anything Jesse's Hunting on the Internet.
